- HR interview - Home assignament challenge En la primera parte te preguntan sobre tu experiencia, tecnologías que has usado y como trabajas. Luego te cuentan cómo funcionan los equipos de Cabify, cuanta gente hay, que tecnologías usan (Golang y Elixir) y la banda salarial que tienen para cada puesto. Además te dan el enlace a una documentación donde cuentan todo esto en detalle. El segundo paso es un challenge para realizar en casa en el lenguaje de tu preferencia. Aparentemente parece fácil pero una vez de pones a hacerlo puedes tardar 3 días mínimo en completarlo (te dan 2 semanas para hacerlo), además tienes que subirlo a su Gitlab y pasar una serie de test de aceptación, incluyendo la creación del pipeline, imagen de docker y demás. Finalmente, después de dedicar bastante tiempo, pulir detalles, añadir todo tipo de test, aplicar DDD, arquitectura hexagonal, clean code, SOLID, etc, recibí un feedback con una respuesta automática a los 5 días diciendo que no había aplicado correctamente DDD en mi arquitectura hexagonal y que me faltaban algunos test, lo cual no es cierto y sin tener posibilidad de hablar con nadie ni de recibir un feedback en condiciones. La verdad es que estoy muy decepcionado ya que es de los peores feedback que he recibido en toda mi carrera cuando he pasado sin problemas pruebas técnicas de empresas con mucho más renombre e internacionales.

I just had an initial call with hr. Then, they gave me the car pooling challenge. I did spent 5 days of my time on this to make the codebase as good as possible. I had some questions during the process and even though I got informed that I can ask if I needed help, I got no answers to my emails. When I sent my final proposition, they said that they won't even consider it, since a test in their acceptance gitlab runner was not passing. They told me, that I could get a couple of days more to fix it, but of course I didn't since I got no response to my questions regarding the assignment. Apart from that, I got informed that if I wanted to continue I had to consider also the fact that I should MOVE to SPAIN, since their hiring policy had CHANGED. This was initially a totally REMOTE position and this was confirmed by the hr recruiter at the initial hr interview!!! So, I spent 5 days of my PRECIOUS time for ABSOLUTAMENTE NADA as you say in Spain! You guys cannot play with people this way and then just act cool! As a cherry on top of the cake, when I sent an email saying that I won't continue the process given the circumstances, GUESS WHAT. I GOT NO RESPONSE!
