Interview
It had 3 rounds. 1st was online exam which covered aptitude, verbal and programming. 2nd was technical interview. If one is clear with basics of programming and subject related to their core and able to project that they have learnt something from engineering through any projects they made or workshops they attended technical round will be over. Basic questions will be asked from 1st and 2nd sem portions. If we refresh them before attending the interview its easy to clear 2nd round. If you clear 2nd round then you are almost placed. 3rd round will be hr round who will ask your willingness to work in any branch and gets you sign as a proof of willingness. Then you will be placed in cognizant.

The overall interview process is good.You should have some basic knowledge on your core topics and some knowledge on the current technologies.Most of the questions asked are from common topics.
