Worst interview I have experienced. I applied online and was promptly contacted by a recruiter the following day. My initial interaction with the recruiter was delightful; she exuded warmth and professionalism, which increased my eagerness to join the company. I took a behavioral test online after the recruiter interview. The subsequent meeting with the ServiceNow team, however, left much to be desired. During the interview, we began with standard introductory conversation. Strangely, just 20 minutes into what was supposed to be an hour-long interview, they abruptly expressed a desire to conclude. I took the opportunity to inquire further by asking questions about the job, only to be interrupted mid-question with an apology about a sudden meeting they had to attend. This abrupt shift was perplexing, especially considering our scheduled time frame. After the interview, I promptly sent a thank-you letter and eagerly awaited feedback. However, disappointment followed as I discovered I hadn't been selected, which didn't come as a surprise given the interview's disarray. Despite my attempts to seek constructive criticism by reaching out to the recruiter, I was met with silence—a frustrating instance of being ghosted. This experience ranks among the worst interviews I've encountered, despite my extensive history of job interviews. It's baffling why transparency wasn't prioritized; it would have been more respectful to candidly communicate their decision rather than feigning ignorance about the interview duration. This incident certainly sheds light on their character and perhaps the broader company culture.
