I applied through university. I interviewed at CBRE
Interview
I came across an advertisement at university career center, and applied through CBRE online website. I received a phone call the day after submitting my resume and cover letter for an in-house interview invitation. Interview was about 45 minutes long, and I also had a chance to ask a number of questions to prospective employer (interviewer).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is the relationship between interest rate and real estate market in general?
The conversation was smooth and comfortable. The interviewer clearly explained the role and benefits, asked straightforward questions, and created a welcoming environment that made the interaction easy and professional throughout the interview process.
The interview touched a lot on real estate law, key terms, and specific industry knowledge. Very doable for people with an RE background but I imagine it would be difficult for those who do not have that.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at CBRE (Manila, Manila) in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview process was good. You start with the HR interview (online), then the department's head (online). Might take a while to hear back from them, especially if you have a lot of competition. But if they like you, you'll be directed to the country manager (f2f, for me). Be yourself and be honest.
