CARIUMA interview questions

3 rounds of interview, 1 with direct reporting, 1 with HR and 1 with CEO. No technical questions asked, mostly general interview questions and getting to know you. Each interview lasted for 30mins to 1hr.

I spoke with the hiring manager about a position, and they told me they wanted me to connect with other teammates. They said they'd get back to me with updates as they needed to take care of some things and interview a few more candidates. I didn't hear back for a few weeks and was told they weren't moving forward. Why say you're interested in me during our conversation when you're not? I'm unsure why companies are vague and evasive with communication these days.
