I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CAM Partners International (Dallas, TX) in Dec 2019
Interview
I applied through LinkedIn for this position and was quickly contacted for an interview by a woman who I will call Amy. She asked when I was available and I said I had limited availability because I was still a student and she agreed to work around my schedule because I was coming from out of town as well. She instructed me to ask for Amy at the receptionist's desk when I arrived. I arrived 15 minutes before my interview time, but spent 30 minutes waiting in a front room that I can only describe as a weird doctor's office waiting room that was blaring "Feliz Navidad" at full volume on repeat. A flood of interviewees were coming in and out and I noticed that almost everyone else was also asking for Amy at the receptionist's desk. However, these interviewees were being called by name (doctor's office vibe) and brought out of the room by employees that were clearly not Amy. After my wait, I was called back by a man (not Amy) with another interviewee and realized this was going to be a group interview, which no one else appeared to be having.
After a couple of questions, the interviewer looked down at my resume and said "Oh. I didn't realize you were still in school. We aren't interested in students. You should have told us that." I was floored. Not only is my student status clearly stated on my LinkedIn profile (my application method), but I also discussed it with "Amy" at length and this job was posted as an entry-level position. He immediately began to tell me about their internship opportunities, but I made it known that was not what I was applying for... For the rest of the interview, he completely ignored me and only was asking the other woman questions and making eye contact with only her.
The interview was 9 minutes total and the last 4 minutes was the interviewer telling us how this company was "the best at everything and no other company could even compare if they tried." So, that means the other woman and myself only talked for 2.5 MINUTES EACH.
At the end of the interview, the interviewer repeatedly assured us that we would both be getting calls by the end of the day to discus either moving forward or not...
I never got a call and that's probably a good thing because I was so ready to give those people a piece of my mind.
INCREDIBLY unprofessional. INCREDIBLY disappointing. INCREDIBLY uncomfortable.

Interview
I applied through linkedin and received a call within 25 hrs to come in for an initial interview. From the start I was a little weary because I could not really find a lot of information out about what the company actual did or what the job exactly entailed. When I arrived at the office I was unimpressed, and that may be because my previous jobs were in very nice lobbying and accounting firms.
My first interview was a dual interview, meaning the manager interviewed two of us at the same time. This was extremely awkward and I found the manager unprofessional. She was practically laying her head on the table as she spoke to us. As I left the interview I was still confused as to what the position was, but I now had a little better sense that this company is in the sales field. I was invited back for a second round of interview and this is when it truly went down hill. I arrived at 4:00 along with 10 other individuals. All but myself and another woman were called back to meet with a manager. We waited until 5:30 and still had not been met with, when we were finally given paperwork to fill out, which we could have been filling out during the hour we waited. FINALLY at 6:30 I was greeted by the CEO and went in for the interview and was told I was being looked at for a manger role. Throughout the discussion red flags started to be raised and this company started to seem more and more like a legitimized pyramid scheme. I was offered a "job" but was told that they would like me to do a trial week, because he was not sure I would be successful. I was never given any formal offer letter or information about what the compensation package was.
While I understand now that this company does a lot of door-to-door sales/fundraising on behalf of their clients, but like others, I was under the impression that the specific position I applied for was not direct sales. I continue to see on Linkedin that all their positions are the exact same thing, but they have given them different tittles and they CONSTANTLY repost their positions.
Overall, I found this company to be unprofessional, as well as inconsiderate of candidates time. I also think that their recruitment process lacks transparency.
