Applied for several positions and for several locations, a few locations did email and text me notifying that I was selected to interview with them. I scheduled interviews right away - making adjustments to my current job both times. Kept those time frames clear from anything else, took time to do my research, and was fully prepared and excited for interviews. However, I was never called. Both times. On top of that - i was emailed days later, the email thanking me for interviewing with them and although they are impressed by my qualifications, will not be selecting me to continue with hiring. How does that make sense - I did not interview with them because they did not call. Wasted my time and effort and I lost income to be able to make the interview times they had available. Very disappointed.

The interview went great the manager gave me the job right then and said to come back in a week. Later I got a call to finish the application on the website and then we could move forward. The next day I got a text she didn’t realize there were no open positions available and I could try again later for a holiday season. Today I got a message saying they decided to go with a candidate with qualifications that were a better fit. I let go of other jobs because I was confirmed to have been hired. I have been in customer service for 10+ years but today I got a message they hired someone with better fitting qualifications. I shouldn’t have let go of other jobs that was my fault. They shouldn’t have confirmed I was hired after the interview then said I wasn’t because there was no openings to then messaged they hired someone else. I love the items in the store and the interview was with a new manager she was awesome but was really disappointed with the way this was handled and that there’s nothing I can do about that. I’m a single mom and have been looking for a job for awhile and finally got 3 callbacks but the first job to say I was hired was Burlington so I took that and let the others know I was hired. The interview was fine but I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
