Started off with a phone call with their executive recruiter who was awesome. Progressed quickly, had 2 onsite interviews within one week (had to take off multiple work days for this) which I was happy to do since the recruiter told me there was only 1 other candidate in the running and I had significantly more experience. She literally told me she was so excited to hire me and discussed salary, fitting in with the team, etc. After the 2nd onsite interview, I was told I would have one more virtual interview and would be contacted in 2 days to schedule it. Radio silence for a full week. After a few emails to her, another Bungalow employee emailed me apologizing for the delay that was caused because it had been that recruiter's last week with the company. She proceeded to emphasize how excited they were to move forward to next steps though and sent me a calendar invite for a call that was addressed "Next steps with Bungalow". Received the call (15 minutes late) only to be told I was no longer in the running and they're moving forward with other candidates. I had high hopes for this company but they feel incredibly short in communication and transparency. Although they wasted several hours of my life and PTO, I definitely feel like I dodged a bullet.
