Overall Impression: Be Cautious
Pros: the company seems great and the employees I interacted with were nice and professional.
Cons: The candidate the recruiters are searching for is different from the slightly unrealistic candidate that the Director and Management are looking for.
The Director mentioned they had a really high volume of applicants which in my opinion causes some leaders to believe that there is always someone better out there for them.
The Director also seems to be looking for someone with Salesforce Admin experience and/or certification as well as someone with a cybersecurity background and/or certification. Neither of those is a requirement that they listed and is a bit unrealistic to ask in my opinion. It's a lot of experience they require for an entry-level, internship role that is only part-time. I knew the exact moment my interviewer had checked out during the interview which wasn't a great feeling . Had I known this is what they were looing for , I would have never applied . I am not really sure why I was even called for a second interview.
The position is considered an internship and is part-time (less than 20 hours) with the possibility of full-time after six months.
They say that the position is flexible, however, they are looking for someone to work within a specific shift. So, within a specific shift, there is flexibility.
Interview Process:
I applied online.
From what I understand there are about 3 interviews:
-An initial screening interview with a recruiter
-A follow-up interview with the Director of Support.
-A final interview with the Manager to whom you would report directly to.
*The last two interviews may be reversed, depending on their schedule.
