I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Brighton Rehabilitation (San Jose, CA) in Feb 2014
Interview
The interview was very brief and informal. It mostly consisted of asking what my interests and needs were and then describing the facility/job position to see if we would be an appropriate match. I was able to meet other members of the staff and ask questions about their work experiences.

Question 1
How would you go about getting therapy time with a difficult patient?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Brighton Rehabilitation (Spokane, WA) in Apr 2010
Interview
Contact is initially through a recruiter. Very basic job information was communicated by him. I was unimpressed when later, during a more formal phone interview with the building level rehab manager, it turned out that the recruiter had gotten major details about the position wrong (such as the number of buildings that position covered, and number of beds at each of these facilities). The phone interview was thorough but not difficult, no unexpected questions, and very professional (more of a reflection on that particular manager than the company).

Question 1
Nothing difficult or unexpected. Be prepared to discuss your experience with various patient populations, as well as professional communication and ethical dilemmas.
