The interview process was extremely long, consisting of seven interviews (each around 30 minutes) plus an assignment and a presentation.
Despite my extensive experience in both technical and management domains, I found that several interviewers lacked the necessary technical depth and managerial skills. In some cases, they did not seem to fully understand the results or purpose of the assignment.
Many of the product managers and technical directors appeared to have limited knowledge and confidence when discussing the assignment in detail. The technical interview also involved only very basic questions.
Overall, the lengthy process, combined with the lack of clarity and expertise from the interview panel—along with ongoing layoffs and feedback—made the experience discouraging and reduced my interest in the role.
