I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (New York, NY) in Aug 2025
Interview
They gave what is basically an IQ test. It goes very fast. I have dyslexia, so that’s why I didn’t finish the last question. To me, they seemed very pretentious, hiring students straight out of undergrad with no experience--but that’s what they want--“cookie cutter”...not people with a real, actual lifetime of experience in that field. Probably because it would make the other Sr. Consultants and Managers uncomfortable when confronted with how much they don’t know, from an intern, ha. So, if you’re nontraditional, forget about it. They don’t want actual talent. They want kids they can brainwash into thinking their talented.

Question 1
It was a basic IQ test...you CAN study for it, if you look on youtube there are quite a few companies that sell the simulations, which are pretty up-to-date.
I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
Two back to back interviews. Each consisted of 15 minutes of behavioral questions and 30 minutes of a case study. One interviewer was more senior and asked harder hitting questions with a more challenging case. The other was more straight forward.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you felt you had to compromise on your values.
The interviewer had to change time the day before even if it was scheduled 1month ago. I had two interviews. The first interviewer seemed quite indifferent. They were both nice conversation tho.
Muy estándar, en total 2 rondas con 2 entrevistas cada una. La primera ronda suele ser más fácil, pero la última con los partners sí te hacen mucho stress test y challenge.
