Similar experience to many of the reviews here. Ghosted after a take home test and approached back after many month later with the invite for onsite presentation at which point I already moved on. I think the company needs to be upfront about the fact that they are not actively hiring and are trying to create a pool of candidates just in case. That is only fair because home test requires a lot of effort for a busy professional and from what I have experienced the company expects you to prep for all sorts of questions that can show up at any point even if you are told otherwise.
