I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Boeing
Interview
Pretty straightforward interview process. Two phone screens then a technical interview with engineers.
Received call extending an offer the following week, telling me they'd deliver paperwork soon. I expressed my interest and excitement to join.
Was ghosted shortly after, no phone call or emails. Only indication I was rejected for the position was to check the status on the company website. Extremely unprofessional way for this process to end.

I applied online. I interviewed at Boeing (East Lansing, MI) in Feb 2026
Interview
There was one interview. We discussed my background from active cell balancing research to PCB design to my teaching and other research. I was offered the job after a couple of hours.
Asking about willingness to relocate, prior work experience, start date. Then a series of personality type questions to see if youre a good fit for them. The interviewer was responding to emails the entire time.

Question 1
Describe a time when you had to change something in order to make it better
Panel interview, Behavioral questions and technical questions centering on past situations. STAR Method. The Interviewers were easy to talk to, and had answers to all my questions. Seems like a good place to work, with hands on options for engineers.
