Interview
They used to do awful group interviews. Those ended a while ago. There isn't much turnover anymore and I don't see that they're interviewing many people at all. There was a time when a young lady with a bad attitude was doing interviews, but management sniffed her out pretty quick and she's been reassigned to a position that doesn't work with people as much. (Thank goodness! People skills aren't her strong suit!) BTW - I heard some new hires say that they do personality tests and background checks now. Probably because some newer executives have been promoted from the sales team.

Interview
In order to apply for the job you call them and when they call you back they go through a short interview to ensure that you are at least capable for the position. Then they schedule you for an in-person interview. The impression is that it is going to be a one-on-one interview but it is not quite that way. You are in a group of 3 or 4 and you fill out an application while you wait. There really wasn't any interaction with any of the employees of the company as they all seemed pretty busy. Then they take you on a tour of the facility and then have you sit in a conference room and watch a sampling of their video products as they talk to individuals one-on-one. When they interviewed me the young woman asked me about my previous experience and if I was able to handle quotas and expectations and a couple of other questions. She then offered me the job on the spot and handled me one of their video products in order for me to get more familiar with their work. The interview questions were very short and I was surprised at the speed of it all. I told her I needed to think about it and she said that I had until the end of the day tomorrow to get back to her.

Interview
I arrived 30 minutes early. I thought the interview process could have been a whooooole lot better. I was there with two other gentlemen. The hiring rep took the three of us around to show us the facility and the area, if hired on, we would be working. This is supposed to be a christian-based organization which was a plus in my books. But, as we walked in to look at the sales floor and into a room in which the three of us had to watch a movie about what Bluefish is about. I am not judging the organization, however there was secular music playing over the loud speakers which kind of made me think ok...not appropriate if we are to sell to and make contact with churches and other christian organizations. At the onset, the lady who interviewed us came into the room, passed out a commission breakdown sheet and I was called into the room immediately next door. The lady seemed so uninterested in what I was saying and I even caught her rolling her eyes. Now I do understand sometimes,an employers would do things to get you off centered but it was really distracting and it made me really reconsider if I would have wanted to work for a company who had this type of interviewing tactics. At the onset, She stated she had 46 interviews to do and only had 6 positions available. I interviewed on a Friday and she stated if we have not heard back from them by Thursday of the following week, then the positions have been filled.
