      Java Backend Developer Interview

      Aug 19, 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bengaluru
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BlueOptima (Bengaluru) in Aug 2019

      Interview

First round was an online technical test at hackerearth which consisted of 20 java related questions and 2 coding questions, 2nd round was a face to face interview which consist of questions related to basic data structure and algorithm. They also asked me about projects which I was recently working on and asked questions related to that.11 students qualified for this round including me. Then they gave us project (work sample) to work on and they also created seprate teams in groups of 2 and 3 . Then after a weak the work sample discussion took place and it was through a hangout call. The interview was very bad as we were not able to hear the voice of the interviewer clearly . Then it took them more 6 days to say that they rejected all of us in one go. They didn't even take the interview properly and said that the work sample was not upto their mark. This company doesn't want to take students but they want everyone to build their project and then they would start working on it after they recieve project from us. Don't know why they rejected all of us. And they wasted 15 days of all the 11 students. It was totally depressing for all of us.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked me on how to implement queue using 2 stacks, Acid properties in dbms, find loop in a linked list, about the project and few questions were related to my projects.
