I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BlueChip Financial (Hopkins, MN) in Apr 2023
Interview
7 rounds of interviewing plus a homework assignment. The interviews consist of the initial interview, the second interview with two more people, the qualitative interview the quantitative interview, and finally the homework assignment in person at the office and then two more interviews directly after. Entire process takes almost a month.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
The first two interviews are pretty standard. Asking about your current position your previous positions and why you're looking for a job. The second set of interviews are the qualitative and quantitative and in those you are being asked some simple math questions and how you would approach certain situations
The final set of interviews in person at the office are the odd interviews, you're not really being asked about your skill set they're seeing if you fit in with them. It's nerve-racking and a bit like being in high school trying to fit in and find friends. Felt like I was in a rat race. The final interviewer is the ceo. This was an interesting guy, couldn't look you straight in the face for very long constantly looking at his phone the floor the ceiling. All while telling you about the business somewhat. He kept saying or bringing up the issues surrounding the company being compared to a predatory lender and how different tribes didn't like him. Felt more like he was trying to convince himself than me.
