Interview
The recruiter was unprofessional without the introduction to the company and did not turn on the video when it was told as a video call. bad experience at the start
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Block (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2020
Interview
The interview process was a very positive experience for me due to the recruiter that worked with me, Jillian Hind. She was very communicative throughout the entire process: prior to 1:1s, prior to technical exams, prior to the panel, and post-interview process (after I was rejected). In addition to her communication skills, she was also very knowledgeable and informative about each interview process which personally helped me in my preparation.
The most surprising thing, and the thing that I'm most thankful for, is that she even contacted me after I was turned down for the position. During this hour phone call, she provided the feedback that was given from each person I interviewed with, and also each job posting, my suitability, and things to look forward to from the company.
Even though I was turned down, this experience, alone, has made me believe in the company, the people, and I am know driven to do better the next interview.

Question 1
How would you create a dashboard regarding San Francisco's traffic?
5 Beginner to medium-skilled SQL questions that involve group logic, subqueries, and CTEs. The most difficult was a cumulative sum (running total) query. The person that I worked with also asked me what I would be able to gleam from the query after each question.
