Three-stage interview: the first was answering a series of questions via an online video recording program. These were fairly low-key questions (Why BlackRock? Why your current education program/track? etc.) and I answered them to the best of my abilities.
The second stage was an interview via webcam with a couple of SAE team members. Nothing too technical, mostly gauging your intuition regarding the market and your problem-solving ability. From talking to other classmates who got to this stage, each interview was tailored to the resume of the interviewee.
The final stage was an in-person interview Superday at their SF office. I was interviewed by four members of the SAE team (two analysts, two managers), and it was essentially more of the same level of questions as the webcam interviews. I felt that the interviews went well, but I ended up not getting an offer. Still, it was a great experience and I'm glad I got the opportunity to meet as many members of the SAE team as I did.
