The interview process was initiated by an AI service. I found it fairly easy to work with, but it made an error on my interview time, listing the interview in a time zone other than the one we were in. So, I was an hour early for my interview. The manager accommodated me, but mentioned it happens often. The interview portion was fairly standard, but then they asked if I wanted to shadow an employee right then. I was surprised, but also eager to jump in and see things first hand. They had me shadow a manager, who seemed knowledgeable, but was not at all professional. In fact, she was making passive aggressive comments to the other techs she was managing, who you could tell were not happy being treated that way. I was somewhat dumbfounded that she would do this in front of a potential employee and made me wonder about what happened when she wasn't being shadowed.
