Was required to do a test beforehand before being invited for an in-person interview. Was not offered a position, with the reason for rejection being "We had another candidate selected prior to you applying", therefore essentially wasting my time.

If you were testing a game, how would you know a bug you come across is not an easter egg?
They would put you in a room with 3 people; a senior developer, the director, and senior QA Tester. They'll ask you questions about your experience and projects (if applicable).

Very easy - not very technical. The interview was in two parts - one over the phone and the other in person with many other people. The in-person was with 3 people.
