I applied through other source. I interviewed at BioDiagnostic Labs
Interview
I applied online and I met with them via Whatsapp for the interview. My overall impression was that they were not very professional:
It took many emails to plan the interview and the day before I was told they expected me in person. However, they knew already that I live in a different state and they had even asked me by email if I was willing to relocate. They knew I live in a different state but they wanted me to meet in person and told me one day in advance. I forgave that, perhaps they did not realize.
Anyway, I could not meet in person that day and I proposed to have a videocall instead. They proposed to meet via Whatsapp. The day of the meeting they did not call me on time. I wrote after 15 min asking if there would still be an interview. They asked to postpone the call one more hour but they did not call me until past that. I suppose that can happen occasionally so I let that go too. However, during the interview I had the impression they asked me questions yet they did not seem to care about my answers. I was also not given time to ask questions and the ones I asked were vaguely answered. The interview felt very rushed. I spoke to two people, one of them seemed to be the owner or CEO. He was not introduced except for his name. Our call got interrupted by other calls and people during my interview. He was curt to all those people. I was invited to go in person to check out the facilities. Before planning a visit to the facilities, I emailed them with a few questions. I wanted to have a better understanding of the position, the responsibilities and the time commitment they expected. They did not email me back.
From my emails and the interview I had, overall I had the impression they were rushed to hire someone, anyone, and that they were not very transparent.
