Thank you for your comments. We would like to clarify a few things regarding your application process.
You forgot to mention that you were offered the role in a previous interview, and your later denied to join due to personal reasons. When you were later considered for the position again, we asked you to wait as we were in the process of interviewing other shortlisted candidates. During this time, we did receive multiple follow-up messages and calls from you seeking updates. As we had already communicated, the hiring process does take time, and we expected some patience during this period.
Regarding your request for a salary hike, it's standard for us to ask about compensation expectations during the interview process, whether or not the candidate is currently employed. We don't view this as an unreasonable or personal question, but rather a necessary part of understanding alignment on both sides.
Ultimately, as an organization, we are free to select the candidate we feel is the best fit for the role. If the current process does not align, we may opt to post the job again in the future.
