Behavox Software Engineer Java Developer interview questions

I had a phone screening interview with a person from HR followed by an online 1:1 video call with their Product Owner. Until this point, everything was great until they sent me a take home assignment. I spent a couple of days (which is still a lot ) to complete the assignment with basic functionality and tests. Unfortunately, the feedback I got was along the lines of being able to write a complete production ready app which does not make any sense for a job interview process. At this point, I decided not to spend any more time on the task. I would be surprised if someone working in software industry in a busy market like Montreal would be interested to spend days/weeks to write a complete app just for a job interview process.
