I had a phone interview with a Talent Acquisition Specialist from Wisconsin and then, the following week, an in-person interview with the Store Manager who had posted the position. Both interviews were very pleasant and informative. The job sounded like the exact thing I was looking for. After the second interview, they scheduled me for an in-person interview with the Vice President of Sales for the following Tuesday. The Friday before said interview I received an e-mail stating that they were no longer offering the position to anyone. I felt like my time had been wasted and my hopes built up only to have the rug pulled out from under me. If you aren't absolutely certain that you are going to offer the position, don't interview for it.
