      Interview

People are extremely awesome and encouraging. Overall the process is more similar to working session solving problems than a standard leetcode question. The interview loop are extremely fast, unlike other big tech will can take months to get back to you and move you into next round. Overall extremely positive experience

      Difficult interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Base (TX)

      Interview

Reached out to by a recruiter. Had an initial recruiter screen, two technical screens, and a multi-hour onsite which included a project presentation and multiple software design questions. The technical/design questions weren't your standard leetcode problems, they were unique and interesting. I liked that I got a sense of how the engineering team approached problem-solving through what they emphasized in the interview process. Everyone I interacted with was extremely bright and engaging. The onsite was especially collaborative and I felt I got a good sense of what it would be like to work with the engineers and what kinds of problems I would be able to work on. It was challenging but I enjoyed it and had a positive experience overall.

      Interview

Honestly pretty straightforward. Tech screen which I appreciated wasn't anything like "reverse a linked list" or other classic leetcode stuff where it's either you've seen the question before or you havent. Then background discussion (past projects, technical decisions, etc) with hiring manager. Then an onsite day. Moves fast, no crazy gotchas.
