A group interview process with a follow up solo interview. Questions ranged from average (strengths, weaknesses) to favorite books/what you’re currently reading. Even cafe workers should have a healthy appetite for books and answers prepared to demonstrate a passion for knowledge and being easily trainable.

Contacted for interview after applying in-person (it's worth it to apply in person - apparently the person I gave the application to thought I was friendly and recommended I be interviewed). Interview was fairly quick and low-pressure. The manager asked what my favorite drink was and asked me to sell it to him.

it was basically a casual phone interview, simple questions, asked about experience and availability, the manager said i would have an interview in person soon, and yeah that’s basically it
We sat in the Cafe, where we could be present in the cafe during the interview. It was short, probably only 20-30 minutes in total. Questions could easily be prepared for by knowing the job description and knowing the top 10 most popular interview questions.
