I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Barak Capital (Tel Aviv) in Sep 2024
Interview
The process is 2-3 stages. The first is an mathematical exam of 30 basic-low level questions about math, about an hour, and than an interview with 2 managers. Second stage was another interview with 2 managers, unpleasant atmosphere, there were contradict all of my arguments and didn't let me talk and respond. Third stage includes 2 hours exam of memory, finding patterns, finding small details etc , and than one more interview with 2 managers.
The job is entry level, although it seems to be expected from you to be an expert with algo-trade strategies and with several years of experience.
The process was led by the HR which was nicely at first but after the third interview they just ghosting me. Very unprofessional ! When I tried to follow up by a phone call, they didn't answer the phone (3 weeks after the third interview, I called 3 times in 3 different days).
The salary is 10k for full time job, US desk works from 14:30-23:00, Asia works an night, fixed income desk works around the clock. Working Monday to Friday including holidays.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Barak Capital (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in May 2024
Interview
Unless you have to, don't waste your time. They asked math questions even for a programmer. The interviewers were so rude. They questioned why I would want to work in Tel Aviv if I don't live there. They made chauvinistic comments like, 'What can we do? Women are less good at our tests.' And this is only part of their bias.
