Baker Roofing Company interview questions

Phone interview with HR then on-site interview with hiring manager. The on-site interview was very disrespectful and unprofessional. Hiring manager asked how old I was and if I was married. He was offended when I declined to answer and tried to clean it up by telling me his age and marital status. He knew he was out of line. What a clown. The other red flag was he admitted that the last person in the role left because they combined two positions into her role because of layoffs. Whole vibe was bad. This is where not getting a call back was a blessing!

Had a great discussion with their recruiter. We went over the job, and he answered my questions. He really did a great job of highlighting the company. He told me to follow up with him if I hadn't heard from him by a certain day the next week. I followed up with an email and call. I never heard back. I can understand if the hiring manager decided to pass on my resume. Just don't be too much of a coward to tell a candidate that.
