I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Baker Hughes (Twinsburg, OH) in Jul 2021
Interview
Contacted by a recruiter who was persistent in asking about my salary requirements. After the initial screen, a video call with the hiring manager was set up. I get the vibe that they already knew that they were not going to hire me because the first thing the hiring manager said was "this should not take too long, I will try not to take up too much of your time". I was asked a few tougher behavior based questions, then given a chance to ask some questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q: What is your biggest weakness?
Q: Give me an example of a time you failed.
Q: Give me an example of a time you had to resolve a disagreement.
meeting was quick. not detailed questions. seemed like decision had been made in advance of the interview. all conducted remotely via computer link. brief introduction to the role didn't outline day to day activities
the interview was conducted through many stages and all of them went very professional, started with direct manager then hiring manager then with some customer then was finalized by HR
