3 technical phone screenings. The second one includes a live coding pad in Python, where questions are like easy level LeetCode questions. The other two are just technical questions about statistics, machine learning algorithms, etc.

Question 1
Describe what you know about Support Vector Machine and its primal and dual form.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Baidu in Nov 2018
Interview
I applied on their website. The recruiter contacted me a few days later for a technical round via phone call. Had a pleasant conversation with the interviewer when going through my resume and past projects and the coding session went well. The recruiter contacted me a few days later for a second round. Also resume + coding. The interviewer seemed satisfied too.
After that was a few weeks' back and forward with the recruiter. I always got excuses for delaying notifying me the decision. Never got the result and they posted another opening Machine Learning Intern (NeurIPS). Maybe they wanted a candidate with a NeurIPS paper. Should have told me so we both wouldn't waste our time. Kind of unprofessional.
