Technical and fit. They also asked to model a 3 statement operating model. Was pretty straightforward, fit can be a concern as it is very subjective. Otherwise, pretty standard investment banking process
Applied and was notified to interview a week later. The interview consisted of behavioral questions and real estate specific market and technical questions. The interviewer was very nice. Took a month to hear back.

The process was shorter than traditional IB roles. More real estate focused. Did ask some finance-related questions but specifically about real estate finance. Make sure you are knowledgeable about all primary Canadian markets.
