I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at BASF in Sep 2014
Interview
BASF interviewed at my University. Two interviews with two different interviewers, 30 minutes each. Interviewers were friendly and helpful to all the questions I had. I heard the internship interviews are a lot easier than full-time interviews.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at BASF (Cleveland, OH) in Nov 2018
Interview
I attended the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers National Conference in Cleveland, OH and was interviewed on the second day of the career fair. After visiting their booth and speaking to the recruitment team, I was called that night to prepare for a 9AM interview.
The interview consisted of a brief introduction of the interviewer(s) and some casual conversation to help me feel comfortable during the interview session. Since the conference was towards the end of the year, I did not get a response regarding my interview until around mid March 2019 (4 months later).
