I applied through university. I interviewed at BASF (Clute, TX) in May 2016
Interview
Due to me receiving a scholarship, I was emailed to test and interview in the same day. I enjoyed the process it went really good ! Test is on a computer and you find out if you passed the same day....the test is mechanical aptitude very easy however, the interview was fairly hard & brushing up on basics is very important because mechanical questions will be asked. Practice in the mirror don't be nervous and remember you are selling yourself to this company !
There were 6 people on a virtual interview. Pretty average questions. Characteristic based questions and safety hypotheticals. Took about 30 minutes from start to finish. “Name a time when you felt unsafe and what did you do about it”

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BASF (London, England) in Dec 2021
Interview
The whole process moved pretty fast. Once I got the call for the interview a week later I did the interview. The very next week got the offer! This was the most convenient hiring process I have ever been apart of. The questions were all situation type questions and all the people in the interview were real nice and they paid attention to my answers.
