I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BASF (Windsor, ON) in May 2012
Interview
Skill testing questions, followed by an interview with a panel of three interviewers. The skill questions were mostly math related. They had NOTHING to do with the job. They really focussed on relevant experience, and education, but neither actually mattered as what they were looking for didn't match the job provided, AT ALL.
There were 6 people on a virtual interview. Pretty average questions. Characteristic based questions and safety hypotheticals. Took about 30 minutes from start to finish. “Name a time when you felt unsafe and what did you do about it”

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BASF (London, England) in Dec 2021
Interview
The whole process moved pretty fast. Once I got the call for the interview a week later I did the interview. The very next week got the offer! This was the most convenient hiring process I have ever been apart of. The questions were all situation type questions and all the people in the interview were real nice and they paid attention to my answers.
