      CRM Strategist Interview

      Jan 31, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Gibraltar
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at B2Spin (Gibraltar) in Jan 2024

      Interview

Whole process was remote for remote position. Recruitment process was presented at beginning as quite simple two stage: interview and then a task which would next be presented during second interview. Task was including preparing the whole strategy for CRM development including details as well as ideas for promotions, automated cycles, bonuses and communication including whole CRM calendar. Second part of the task was "live task" - during second interview after 30min. presentation of the task prepared at home I have received 50 pages long case study to analyze within 60 minutes and present the answer to questions during conversation - in total the whole second interview was over 2.5 hrs long (including 60 min to go through the case study). I was supposed to receive a definite answer after 3-4 business days (After the weekend). Sadly it was not so. I was informed that due to the nature of the role, there will be another interview with another person (just one). Last interview lasted barely 20 minutes, was more of an interrogation than anything else. I needed to go (again) through my whole career history and answer questions related with my previous employments etc. which I already did once during first interview. All the questions were asked in unpleasant and urgent manner. I had the feeling that person interviewing me is in great hurry to finish this unpleasant experience asap. Then questions about KPI`s and data analysis have followed. 10 min. within the interview yet another person joined - which I didn`t know who it is nor what position in the company he has. I was answering questions under great stress, as I was ensured that my task was greatly done and persons from second Interview were "very impressed" with what I did, so (now I can see how naively) I thought this would be a short call to meet the senior management before most certainly receiving an offer. How very wrong I was. This concluded the interviewing process. Next I was ghosted (of course) and needed to reach out to the company myself after a week to learn about the fact that I was not hired due to some reasons which were not related at all to the task and second interview (which again lasted 2.5hrs) nor my experience but to last interview which was not supposed to even take place. The whole process could easily skip the task part and 2.5hrs call, since I have the feeling that the last interview was the most important (and the only one I failed - I am admitting it, due to stress). To say that I felt treated unjust would be a great understatement. Very unpleasant experience.
