Interview
I talked with a recruiter then I had an interview with 2 art directors. Im not sure why there were 2 art directors, but they seemed nice enough. They asked me very basic questions then admitted to using AI to generate their questions. This highly confused me, shouldn't an art director know what questions to ask a senior 3D artist? They were also hesitant to show me the game itself or tell me a lot about it, I also found this weird, but I insisted--I wanted to know what I'd be working on, I think that's fair. Well, the game had zero vision artistically and with game design. Fuethermore they were pushing for NFTs, web 3.0, etc. I asked them how web 3.0 would affect the game experience and they didn't have a good answer. All-in-all, while they seemed nice, it was the most unprofessional interview I had ever been a part of in my 16 years in the industry.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very basic questions about how I make art and what programs I use. A very shallow interview. I didnt get the offer, not that I wanted it (read above), I think they knew i wasn't we weren't going to be a fit.

Interview
Applied online. HR/Recruiter 1-on-1 video call. Rejection after 1 interview with their recruiter. The next day Azra announced that they closed their Austin studio laying off like 50+ employees.
**Seems like one of their own just took the job internally after the Austin closure thus rejecting me for the role.
