I saw the ad and sent my resume online, they called me the next day and I went there and talked to Director of Marketing, he explained about the company and their reason for their need for new employees

They saw my resume on Indeed, Linked-In or Career Builders and called even though I have no financial experience. They represented themselves as calling from Aegon. At the interview, they further said they were the Transamerica Marketing Dept. It wasn't until a seminar a day later, I found out, quite by accident, the company was actually Axianta. NOT Aegon, NOT Transamerica. Why would you misrepresent yourself, unless you have something to hide. Why be deceitful? I walked away and, yes, they took $100 to run a background check on me. I was given a sheet with 25 lines to complete with names, numbers, income range, etc. of friends, family and acquaintances they could call
