I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AutoFi (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2018
Interview
Very professional and efficient. After a short phone screen I was invited onsite to meet part of the team I would work with. This included a senior engineer, a tech lead and the engineering manager.
Had great discussions with the 3 of them. Each interview included discussing about experiences and goals as well as a different kind of technical challenge.
The whole process was very enjoyable.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AutoFi in Sep 2018
Interview
I received interview request. First step was phone screening then technical interview. I got the application through a job board posting. After few questions to answer, a call was arranged.

Question 1
Got a phone interview. It didn't went further. They asked regarding JavaScript and .NET. But they decided to not continue.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AutoFi (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
In lieu of a phone interview, they directly bring you to 2 onsite rounds. Half of the people from the first round didn't even bother to show up, and those that did show up weren't prepared.
On top of that there was radio silence after the first interview after agreeing that they were going to move on to a second round. For a company that prides itself for being "transparent", they sure aren't doing a good job.
