I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Austin Lane Technologies (Denton, TX) in Nov 2022
Interview
Initial on-site interview, then a Software Project Assessment with a follow-up second on-site interview. The employees I met during the interview process were personable and friendly. I was genuinely excited about the possibility of working with them. I declined their offer when they did not accommodate my request for an extension of time beyond their 24-hour deadline to consider their offer due to the desire to hear back from another company I was interviewing with. This gave me a bad gut feeling due to the use of what I perceived as a high-pressure tactic to rush my decision. Considering the investment of time I had made to partake in their interview process, I found this unprofessional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questioned around programming principles, .NET and past work experience.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Austin Lane Technologies (Denton, TX) in Sep 2017
Interview
Three interviews. Two talking to people. One for a written test. Not much other than that. The written tests are a bit silly. Make sure you memorize binary search. You can probably just guess on the support test and still pass.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Two tests. One over programming stuff (writing binary search in pen for example) and one over general Windows use
I applied through university. I interviewed at Austin Lane Technologies (Denton, TX) in Mar 2017
Interview
First a phone screen that lasted about 30 minutes, then a traditional interview with two software developers. The interview began with a 30 minute programming skills check and then typical in-person interview questions about resume, goals, etc.
