Interview
I applied through ZipRecruiter but when I saw that an assessment from WonScore was required, I initially decided not to finish the application. The only reason I continued with the application was because the director sent a message asking if I wanted to continue and so I thought maybe he was interested. You are required to call him based on available time slots.
When I called he answered with a sigh as if he didn't want to do it which I can understand because interviews are annoying. He said he had to pull out my resume. I knew what to expect from him based on the reviews here on Glassdoor so I wasn't surprised by his personality. He seemed straight forward but uninterested, disengaged with the interviewing process. He then told me he would ask me filter questions, the same presented in the initial ziprecruiter application. He described how the business is set up and how he had two separate locations for tech and admin. He did not ask any specific questions about my experience but did go through the skills section of my resume or ziprecruiter profile page.
I asked him these questions: what is the most challenging part of the job? His reply was that he was the most challenging part because he was abrasive. I think he thought he was a badass because he didn't hesitate to quickly answer/interrupt the question. I just said okay... The next question I have is how has covid affected the business' operations? He said he has the sanitizers, distance measures in place and that you are free to use a mask if you want. The job is not remote and that they were considered an essential business.
He asked me if I was still interested in the job, not that that meant he was interested or disinterested in moving along. I said sure if I'm still considered. I did not hear back. Have had worst interviews so that's the reason for the neutral mark.

Interview
There were some assessments to fill out after you applied. They had me call and did an over the phone interview then scheduled an in-person interview after.
The in-person interview went about normal with the only strange thing being that some of the questions they asked me made it seem like they didn't know all that much about managed services.
They also had some strange quirks that were small red flags:
-Raises are only given based on certs you get. Which seems an odd to have that be your singular way to judge an employees worth.
-If you leave within 2 years of completing a cert they reimbursed you for they want a pro rated refund of that money they spent. That seems a slightly vindictive and it probably exists because they have high turn over. High turnover is always a bad sign.
They made an offer which was 18k under my ask, with a line saying "an increase in your payroll will be made after you have completed 90 days" but, that wasn't discussed during the interviews and the letter doesn't put a dollar figure on the increase so it doesn't really mean anything.
I ended up declining the offer. I wouldn't say it was a bad experience but, I feel like my time was wasted on a low ball offer. If they knew they were going to offer me 18K under my ask then they should have mentioned that before having me do an in person interview.

Interview
The person who I think was interviewing me was the owner. He was very rude and non chalant. The phone interview requests stated to call him and this time, and he answered as if I had disturbed him. He wasnt prepared for an interview and said he decided to work from home and he was gonna see if someone else could take it because it was a long day for him. He eventually did the interview and was very nasty. He criticized me for getting multiple degrees, stated I was a life time school goer. Then when asking me questions about my background, he didn't let me explain, he stated either you know it or you dont,he said he was very straight forward and dont have time for my explanations. Then he proceeded to tell me there was over a 170 applicants who applied and that he was upset he had to deal with that many, then told me only 6 people passed the pre screening test and that I should feel lucky to have passed it because thats the only way you get an interview. I believe over all it was a very unprofessional interview. At the end when I said I didnt have any questions for him,he just hung up.
