First round is a slightly technical recruiter screen, asked a few questions about PID controllers and heat transfer methods; second round was more project focused; think there is a third round and also an onsite after this one
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe the three methods of heat transfer, how they work, and which dominates in different scenarios.
7-8 rounds in total with 2 on-site rounds. Good mix of multiphysics reasoning and fabrication related questions. Passionate and experienced team. It was disappointing to get almost conflicting feedback after such a rigorous process. Seems like a cool place to work.

Modeling questions related to their potential product
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Atomic Machines
Interview
I was contacted by the atomic machines recruitment team and asked me to apply. I was ghosted on my zoom interview. There was no contact, no accountability, and no apologies. When I reached out, I was told they were "behind on emails", and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I responded, and was ghosted. This loop repeated 2 additional times. Extremely unprofessional, and not worth the effort to apply.
