Interview
Applied through Craigslist and got a call from one of the receptionists or something. It was pretty fast and I was able to schedule an interview. I called back to make sure everything was set up since the day before my interview I hadn't gotten any e-mail correspondence on who I was supposed to meet and where I was supposed to go. After talking with 2 different people, I got 2 interview times (10 and 11).
I came an hour early... and looked pretty stupid. but the interview went on and I looked even stupider since I came out of the bathroom to see my interviewers waiting for me. I was interviewed by two people who were really friendly and nice and informative about the position and really pressing about my driving skills since I would probably be a busman and a tutor (didn't see that one coming).
Ended the interview and felt pretty good about myself. But yeah, I didn't get it.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
It was a scenario question: "What would you do if one of your students just didn't want to do anything and he/she was totally uncooperative, like 'Meh, you suck at teaching and I wanna go home and sleep and play with my SEGA, btw I HATE YOU', basically how would you deal with a pimple faced, hormone loaded, uptight prepubescent teenager?"
Another scenario: "While driving to the school zones to pick up the kids, you run late and somebody is really just congesting up the traffic by driving at 8.04km/h in front of you. You're already late so what do you do?"
