I had an interview for a Customer Success Manager position with Ascend. It seemed to go fairly ok and I even asked about next steps at the end of my interview. The hiring manager was unsure about the process but said their recruiter would follow up- either way, I never received a follow up despite sending a thank you and check in email when I hadn't heard back from them. Sad to see a lack of basic decency for candidates.

Overall everyone was friendly, but did not feel the scoring was fair given that some interviewers were either late or didn’t show up

Call with recruiter, Zoom with HM, Zoom with product manager, take home assignment, onsite interview (consisting of 3 panel interviews).
Everyone was incredibly punctual, kind, smart, and passionate about what they do. I ended up leaving the process due to another offer, but I was really impressed with the team culture and drive.
