Initial interview with Recruiter. Later, interviewed in person with Recruiter and Director. The interview was very long. It seemed pleasant, yet that was misleading. My background is Marketing, PR and Sales. At first, I was worried that I was overqualified. However, I did not get the job. The Recruiter called me back and suggested that I apply for a job that is a step down in which I initially interviewed. That was very odd to me. I have my suspicions, however, I hope that my suspicions aren't true.

Question 1
Why do you wanna work in a call center and take no's from clients.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Angi in Feb 2018
Interview
Had a brief phone interview, then a week later met with the HR person first for about 30 minutes and went over basic employment history. Then two managers came in and questioned me for about two hours. It was a little intimidating at first and I felt kind of ganged up on, but I understand they were just trying to make sure I was aware of what the job was and that I was equipped for the role. They asked me to go through a lot of my sales background and role play what that process was like. They asked a lot of questions about how I've dealt with stress, pressure, deadlines etc. in the past. Basically I went back and forth between being terrified of the role and also being excited about it, based on what they were saying. They were super nice and in the end said that they wouldn't have spent that much time with me if they didn't think I'd be a good fit. They did make an offer the next day, however I did not take it.
Thanks for taking the time to leave such insightful feedback. It sounds like the team could have done more to make you comfortable during your interview, and I am sorry that it wasn't a completely positive experience for you. We will definitely use this feedback to improve our process. Best of luck in your job search. - Shannon Skalka, Director, Corporate Recruiting
