The Interview was an In-person interview where two people questioned the potential candidate on their past experience, current talents, and abilities and why they are qualified for this current position.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Anabi Oil (Sacramento, CA) in Dec 2018
Interview
It was a group interview, and more of a meeting to talk about what the company had to offer, since anabi oil was buying raleys aisle one gas stations. They didn't really have much to say except that we had a time limit to decide if we wanted to stay with raleys or anabi and what anabi would have to offer.
I applied online. I interviewed at Anabi Oil (Upland, CA) in Jun 2016
Interview
Told the salary was 16 hourly and the HR generalist would send directions and confirmation. I had to call Monday and ask for them. I did not recall applying for anything with that low of pay but was called at work so could not research. The pay was actually advertised at 17 to 18.50 hourly. You needed up to 7 years of experience in a multi state payroll. I exceeded this requirement.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were no personality questions. All payroll related. I was told I would have a 2nd interview that was not final with HR and the PR Manager. They told me the pay would be 17 after 60 days. When offer was made that was wrong and I confronted them about the advertised rate and they stated it was wrong. There PTO offer was one week. 3 days of that are law required sick leave so in other words 5 days of vacation.
2 wrongs, no apology from anyone but HR generalist. This retired military person does not want to work there and will tell other Veteran groups the same
