      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amino (Cambridge, England) in Jan 2007

      Interview

They were looking for Russian speaking Sales Manager for Russian IPTV market. I found their post on one of a job resources and sent my resume. A recruiter called me just in couple days. He asked very basic organizational questions. In another couple days I received a test from him. They asked me to do a research on Russian IPTV market, to describe the key players, and to offer a plan on how I would work to penetrate the market. Then I had a phone interview with VP of Business Development. He asked more detailed questions about my previous experience, some situational questions and other relevant things. It was a pleasure to talk to him. Then I've got an interview in the office. Before the interview they sent me a personal test to complete. It was nothing about the job or my experience. Just stupid multiply choice test, reminded me horoscopes... The first part of interview in the office was presentation. I represented myself, reported results of my market research and offered a plan that I developed as a home work. After that they asked usual questions about my background, skills, and more details about my views on the IPTV market and how I would work on business development. Overall there was a very positive experience. People were very nice a pleasant.
