I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at American Heart Association (Des Moines, IA) in Sep 2018
Interview
The first interview was a video interview. The interviewee has a set amount of time to answer the question and can only do it once. Next there was an additional application and an ACCESS Personality Survey to fill out prior to the in person interview. The survey is pretty long and takes a while to get through. Then the in person interview followed up with a phone interview.

Question 1
What would be the first thing you want to implement in this role?
I interviewed at American Heart Association (Lexington-Fayette, KY)
Interview
My interview process was very quick and accelerated. I quickly received a response from the local team regarding my application and was scheduled for an initial, in person interview that next week. I quickly proceeded to 2 virtual interviews with other members of the regional team. Each interview was very thorough and reflected the priorities of each of the team members I interviewed with. I was able to ask a lot of questions and get a good glimpse into the company, the role and the culture. I felt like everyone was direct and candid and wanted to make sure I fully understand the role and the expectations of the company.

Question 1
They asked me to share my experience and how it would apply to the new role I was interviewing for. They also asked me to share a emotion-provoking story since storytelling is a key part of this role.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at American Heart Association (Cleveland, OH)
Interview
Overall the process was thorough but drawn out. It started with a video interview, followed by a call with a recruiter, and then two zoom interviews with the hiring manager and various other team members. I applied in early March and it took almost a month to be contacted for the video interview and each interview after that was spaced at least 2 weeks apart. The interviewers were very warm and welcoming and asked thought provoking questions.

Applied online in their platform. About a week later received an invitation for a one-way video interview that had to be completed within 4 days. A week after that, received a phone interview request with a recruiting director, then the following week did an interview with the Executive Director and VP for Communications for the region. Received a decision two business days later.
