I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Marlton, NJ) in May 2013
Interview
Walked in to go shopping, but ended up applying for a position. Filled out the application in person, manager asked me to come in later that day for an interview. Fairly short interview one on one with the manager. He asked me questions and took notes based upon my answers. Really pay attention to your voice level, smile and eye contact, communications skills are crucial for the retail environment and the first thing employers look for.
