It was an interesting process. When I first arrived I almost left before the interview because the security, scruffiness, filth, smokers and ghetto setting were sketchy, at best. During the interview with three people, a description of my job function and role as a manager was discussed, and so I closed my eyes to the external factors, and decided to disregard reviews I had read on the internet. I was offered the job, and signed an agreement for the position. The wild card was the owner of the company. Once the owner set foot on the property all bets were off, including the signed employment agreement. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
